Ferrari Portofino gets a tuning package from the Novitec studioMarch 28, 2019
After the end of all work on the Italian Ferrari Portofino, the latter received increased power and an updated appearance.
Modify any model of the Italian brand Ferrari is always difficult, because these sports cars are already beautiful. In most cases, from such attempts nothing good is obtained, since many tuners tend to overdo it, but there are some exceptions.
For example, the guys from Novitec not so long ago released their version of Ferrari Portofino.
The new aerodynamic body kit serves a dual purpose, in addition to improving the already magnificent design of the Italian cabriolet, it also helps to increase body smoothness by increasing aerodynamic efficiency. New parts have been developed in the wind tunnel, starting with the front spoiler and ending with air deflector inserts. Even the double air intakes on the hood have their own inserts, very similar to the side air vents located in the front fenders.
In addition, the body side mirrors are made of carbon fiber, and to improve the direction of the air flow, special rockers are provided. Novitec offers an assortment of 21 and 22 inch light alloy wheels, shod in Pirelli tires. The car can be lowered by 35 mm. Owners of an Italian car do not have to worry about damage to the front of the lower part due to a lifting system that raises the front of the car by as much as 40 mm.
The guys from Novitec upgraded 3.9-liter twin-turbo engine. As standard, the V8 engine develops 591 hp. (760 Nm), and after all the work, another 83 hp was added. (91 Nm). The total power is now equal to 674 hp (851 Nm) which is enough to overcome the first “hundred” in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km / h.
