Ferrari is testing a new car in the Gran Turismo seriesAugust 20, 2019
The official presentation of the Italian news may take place in November this year. The car will become a representative of the Gran Turismo class and will certainly receive a hybrid powertrain.
Already in November of this year, the Italian automaker plans to introduce a new model of the Gran Turismo series. This is such a car class, which includes high-speed cars, usually with a 2- or 4-seater coupe, designed for comfortable movement on public roads.
At the Pebble Beach Classic Car Show last week, Ferrari spokesman John Elkann said the automaker plans to introduce several GT models in the near future. It was previously reported that Ferrari will show two new models at a special two-week event in Fiorano (September of this year). Perhaps one of them may be the first Purosangue crossover in the company’s history, and we heard that the 812 Superfast convertible may also appear. Yes, it would actually expand the number of GT class models.
In addition, Mr. Elkann hinted that the new supercar of the Gran Turismo series will appear in November this year.
Back in March 2019, Ferrari representatives said that before the end of this year five new models will be shown. We have already met two of them – we are talking about the F8 Tributo and SF90 Stradale. Two more shows in September, with one in November, fit perfectly with Ferrari’s plan. Below we published photos from tests of a Ferrari supercar, which was equipped with a hybrid powertrain.
