The model under the brand name Hongqi HS7 will be available to all buyers on July 12, 2019. The cost of a large SUV will be 2.4 million in the basic configuration.
Just a week later, a new SUV from the Chinese concern FAW will enter the market. Model Hongqi HS7 is based on the premium and large model Toyota Crown. According to experts, the novelty will become a direct competitor for the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5. Moreover, the model does not differ in the level of equipment, but it will cost a bit cheaper. HS7 is 5,095 mm long, 1,989 mm wide, 1,778 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm.
Under the hood will be offered no alternative 3.0-liter turboshesterka CA6GV30TD, capable of developing up to 338 horsepower and 445 Nm of torque. Together with it, an automatic transmission is installed on eight stages and the system of all-wheel drive is already in the basic version.
Already in the base, the Hongqi HS7 received an electronic autonomous security system, a circular video review, adaptive cruise control, an automatic braking system and warning of possible collisions.
It is worth noting that Honqi is a Chinese brand for local officials. But more recently, the company is entering the civilian segment with premium models. The cost of an SUV starts from 269,900 yuan,
Also note that the luxury SUW from the FAW on the basis of the Toyota Crown has become completely electric. The external differences of the new version of the Hongqi E-HS7 from the standard SUV are minimal.
