FAW showcased the updated Bestune B70August 6, 2020
FAW on Wednesday, August 5, showed the third generation of the Bestune B70 sedan.
The newest car is built on a completely new FMA platform and got a 1.5 turbo engine from the recent Bestune T77 SUV. Due to the new architecture, the new product has become larger in comparison with its predecessor. The length of the sedan is 4810 mm, width – 1840 mm, height – 1455 mm. So, it is 10 mm longer, 20 mm wider and 11 mm lower than the machines of the second generation.
In terms of design, the novelty resembles modern Cadillac sedans – especially in the Y-shaped front optics. In addition, the B70 has acquired exterior mirrors on the doors, and the flagship variations have retractable door handles, 19-inch discs, a virtual dashboard and a multimedia complex with a holographic assistant.
The updated B70 will be equipped with a 169-horsepower turbocharged engine with a volume of 1.5 liters, which will work with a manual transmission or a robotic transmission with two clutches.
The appearance of new items at the Chinese dealers of the brand is expected before the end of this year.
In addition, it was previously reported that Geely showed a restyled Emgrand GT sedan. The novelty received upgraded bumpers, modified headlights, other DRLs and another grille with vertical sections.
