Fast and Furious will become a cartoon serialApril 24, 2018
Streaming video service Netflix will release a series of animated films, based on “Fast and Furious”. The plot line of the cartoon will not be associated with the main franchise and will tell about teenagers “fighting with a criminal organization operating under the guise of an elite racing league,” Variety writes.
The central hero of the series will be Tony Toretto – a cousin of Dominic (in the movie he plays Vin Diesel). Together with friends, he recruited a government agency to infiltrate the criminal syndicate in the guise of racers.
The executive producers of the series will be screenwriter Tim Hedrick (“Voltron: Legendary Defender”), Brat Haaland (“Long live King Julian”) and actor Vin Diesel.
In addition to the main movie, the “Fast and the Furious” franchise also includes the “live” Fast & Furious Live show. Its elements are the re-creation of some stunts from films, as well as the demonstration of unique cinema machines.
The ninth part of the movie “Fast and Furious” will be released on April 10, 2020. The eighth franchise series collected more than $ 1.2 billion worldwide.
