The Chinese-American company Faraday Future has completed the assembly of the first copy of the serial body of the electric crossover FF91 at the brand factory in Hanford, California. For the construction of the core, “innovative technological processes” were used. In particular, we are talking about the technology Flowform, which allows you to create a thermovibrating, but collapsible connections, and the use of 1500 “self-piercing” rivets.
In accordance with the plan, the first deliveries of FF91 to customers will begin in December. According to the Jalopnik website, the electric crossover will be offered in five versions with two- and three-engine power units with a capacity of 726 or 1,089 horsepower, as well as a block of batteries of different capacities: 86.7, 108.3 and 130 kilowatt hours.
In February, Faraday Future at a meeting with key suppliers demonstrated sketches of the new electric crossover model, which in the model range will be located a step below the FF91. From the last the novelty will differ more aggressive and angular design.
The conceptual crossover Faraday Future FF91 debuted in January 2017. The prototype was equipped with four electric motors, the total capacity of 1050 horsepower. From a place up to 96 kilometers per hour, he could accelerate in 2.39 seconds, and the power reserve was 700 kilometers.
