Live images of the extreme hypercar McLaren Senna appeared on the web. Snapshots of the car, named in honor of the three-time champion of Formula 1 Ayrton Senna, was published by the user hampshirephotography in Instagram. The description states that the hypercar was noticed at one of the gas stations in the UK.
McLaren Senna made his debut in mid-December last year. A novelty in the company is called a track car, which is allowed to move on public roads.
Hypercar is built on a modernized carbon platform from the 720S. The car body panels are also made of CFRP. The weight of McLaren Senna is 1198 kilograms.
Hypercar is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 800 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The engine works in tandem with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.
The equipment includes active hydraulic suspension, active stabilizers, aerodynamics, an inconel and titanium exhaust system, brakes with carbon-ceramic discs.
A total of 500 copies of the model will be produced. The price of each car will be about 750 000 pounds sterling.
