Extreme crossover Durango SRT Hellcat shown on videoFebruary 3, 2020
For the performance of such a “charged” SUV can meet the 717-horsepower V8 engine.
Mid-size crossover Dodge Durango may receive a more high-performance modification. This is proved by the next advertising video announcing the next section of the popular Forsage franchise – the ninth in a row. In this video, the claimed car with the Hellcat logo appears briefly. The video, posted on the popular YouTube video hosting service, shows all the current Dodge SRT line. One after another, the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, the 808-strong Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, Durango SRT and the iconic Challenger SRT Demon, equipped with an 852-horsepower engine, appear before the viewer. At the same time, a “charged” Durango with the Hellcat logo enters the frame.
This can be interpreted as an allusion to the plans of the Americans to update the Dodge model line.
Experts expect to see the 6.2-liter 717-horsepower HEMI V8 compressor under the hood of an extreme crossover. The power plant will work in conjunction with 8AKPP and all-wheel drive system. The 481-horsepower Durango SRT accelerates to 97 km / h in just 4.4 seconds. How much time this exercise will take with the more powerful Durango SRT Hellcat, unfortunately, not reported. For comparison, a powerful and high-speed SUV Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a similar engine is gaining “a hundred” in 3.7 seconds.
