Extravagant BMW 4 concept presented in station wagonSeptember 29, 2019
Designers from the X-Tomi Design team presented the previously shown concept Concept 4 in the station wagon. Unfortunately, such a car is unlikely to appear on the market – for a prestigious automaker it is simply not economically viable.
The Bavarian company BMW presented at a recent motor show in the German city of Frankfurt am Main a rather ambiguous car, which was called Concept 4. Now we can see this new item in the station wagon body – I must say that such a car got a more familiar appearance.
One of the most important changes can be called a reduction in the size of the false radiator grille, which was simply enormous in the concept – the brand-name nostrils for the models of the brand were replaced with those of the flagship coupe of the 8th series.
The author of this render is the X-Tomi Design team of designers and I must say that we like this version of the car more. As for the possibility of the appearance of such a car on the market, unfortunately the chances of this are very, very small. The fact is that official representatives of the Bavarian brand have repeatedly stated that in the current global car market, the station wagon segment is already very, very large, and taking into account the fact that profit and actual sales figures dictate the direction of the business, the company does not even want to get involved with a similar type of car.
At the same time, BMW also announced that the production version of the BMW Concept 4 will be slightly different from the concept. We hope that this is precisely about reducing the gigantic size of the grille, since the rest of the exterior of the concept already looks very good. At the moment, we will have to be content only with rumors about the upcoming car, since there are very few official data. We sincerely hope that the 4th series production car will be an excellent product on the market.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the BMW X1 crossover has acquired a hybrid version. BMW has expanded its second-generation X1 family to include the new xDrive25e hybrid.
