Extra mirrors made for Jeep WranglerOctober 31, 2020
Mopar solved the problem of the Jeep Wrangler SUV and the Gladiator pickup with side mirrors by removing the doors completely.
So, the mirrors of the Jeep Wrangler SUV of the current generation and the Gladiator pickup made on its basis are installed on the doors, as a result, when removing the doors (both models have this option by default), difficulties arise. And thanks to the efforts of Mopar specialists, this problem was solved – they showed additional mirrors that are intended for use with the removed doors. The mirror has a special bracket that is bolted to the bonnet panel and upper door hinge.
Black powder paint was chosen as the coating for the brackets, and an anti-corrosion compound was used for their treatment. They even have a mount for a small spotlight. It is noted that you can install custom mirrors yourself, for this you only need a T40 L-shaped wrench, which is part of the standard Wrangler and Gladiator tool kit.
Mirrors can be used on SUVs of the 2018 model year and younger, as well as on pickups that rolled off the assembly line this year. The cost of a set of a pair of mirrors is $ 295
In addition, the debut date of the updated Jeep Compass has recently become known. It should be emphasized that at present there is no information about either the cost or the possible date of the start of sales of the restyled model of the American brand.
