Explore the Jägermeister racing car collectionNovember 9, 2020
YouTube blogger Shmee150 was invited to view the Jägermeister racing car collection located in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. He gave us a quick tour of the vast array of rare racing cars.
If you have been a motorsport fan for over 20 years, you are probably familiar with the Jagermeister racing teams. From Formula 1 to the German Touring Car Championship, the alcoholic beverage company has been a prominent figure in motorsport – they have used bright orange livery for their cars.
But then in 2000, the company ended its motorsport sponsorship, stating that alcohol and sport were incompatible.
In total, over a hundred racing bodids have worn a bright orange livery representing the alcoholic company, including the Porsche 962C Chassis 117. Some of these orange cars are part of the collection of none other than Eckhard Schimpf, the very man who led the company’s racing team. Jägermeister.
Fortunately, YouTube blogger Shmee150 was invited to check out the racing car collection located in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. He gave us a quick tour of this garage.
From Porsches to BMWs, take a closer look at these Deer-branded vehicles that are now almost considered museum pieces and are in excellent condition by Schimpf and his son Oliver. We’re not entirely sure if this collection is open to the public, but at least this video can give us a quick overview of these iconic atoms.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the 1969 collection Mercedes was put up for sale. The car has undergone a major restoration and is in excellent condition. Also, the power unit of the car has undergone modifications.
