Exclusive Maserati Quattroporte station wagon appears on saleApril 7, 2020
An Autostorico dealer in the UK who specializes in unique and classic cars sells the exclusive Maserati – a diesel converted into the station wagon Quattroporte. It was built by Adam Redding Classic Cars, and it is called Cinqueporte. The car drove a total of 14,024 km.
The current owner of the Maserati Quattroporte 3.0 TD Shooting Brake has decided to develop a car after an unsuccessful attempt to acquire the Quattroporte Bellagio Fastback from the Touring Superleggera at auction. The circulation of such station wagons is only 4 copies, for this reason collectors appreciate them highly. After consulting with two large companies that requested £ 200,000 for work, he turned to Adam Redding, a renowned specialist in body repair and restoration of classic cars.
The new Bellagio was built based on the 2015 diesel Quattroporte. The sedan lost a large part of the roof, and after that a couple of versions of the waist line and the roof line were drawn on the computer. The most difficult part of the project was the electrician, especially equipping the car with an electric drive to the tailgate. In total, the development of the station wagon took 1,500 hours.
The car is equipped with a 6.0 liter V6 diesel engine with a capacity of 275 hp. and a torque of 600 Nm. The engine operates in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission ZF and rear-wheel drive system.
