Everything you know about the Harley-Davidson Pan America 2021 motorcycle is here.December 12, 2019
As part of this article, we have collected everything that is currently known about the new motorcycle of the legendary Harley-Davidson brand. The novelty will be positioned as a motorcycle in the 2021 model year.
Since Harley-Davidson announced its new strategic plan for the coming years, we have been interested in learning more about its new models. One of them will be an adventure motorcycle, which will be called Pan America and will be sold as a novelty in the 2021 model year. A year after we were first shown this motorcycle, we still know very little about it – the company is in no hurry to disclose details about the technical equipment of its new products.
Not so long ago, the legendary producer finally broke his silence and gave us an idea of what to expect from Pan America.
Since the motorcycle was first shown as a visualization, there was no consensus on its final design. Appearance was rather ambiguous, but it’s not so bad: people like it or not, they talk about it, and everyone has heard the name of the new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Although the design contrasts sharply with what we usually see from the brand, somehow he managed to get the bike pretty stylish. The lines of the muscular, heavy front with wide “shoulders” and rectangular headlights are very similar to the silhouette of the Road Glide (at least, it seems to me).
We finally found out on which engine the new model will be based when the company introduced the new V-twin at EICMA 2019. The new Revolution Max engine will be offered in two sizes – working volumes of 0.975 and 1.250 liters. Harley announced that his biggest power would be “over” 145 horsepower.
Although we don’t yet know anything about the new brakes and suspension design, the company has confirmed that it has teamed up with Brembo to develop a new all-in-one four-piston caliper to be installed on the upcoming Pan America. The wheels will be wrapped in a set of specially designed Michelin tires.
