Even more aggressive: the updated minivan Toyota AlphardDecember 25, 2017
In Japan, restyled twin vans Alphard and Vellfire are debuted. On the home market models will be released in January 2018.
The design of the Alphard minivan was made even more aggressive. So, this model received a new radiator grille, which now extends to the very lowest edge of the bumper. Also Alphard 2018 got another head optics, separated by chrome inserts, other fog lights, modernized tail lights.
At Vellfire decorative dies in front are located closer than the pre-reform van. In the “exported” version of Z, the “gills” of the air intakes became larger and more pronounced. In addition, this Japanese csr is also equipped with modernized headlights and new lanterns.

In the interior there are practically no changes: new finishing materials and several options for design of devices have been added. Plus, both vans will be available in the new Executive Lounge top outfit with a black and white six-seater saloon.
Already in the “base” both Alphard and Vellfire have a complex of safety systems Toyota Safety Sense P of the new generation. The kit in particular includes: a collision avoidance system that detects the presence of a car in front at a speed of 10 to 180 km / h and warns the driver about the appearance of pedestrians and cyclists on the road; the system of notification of unintended intersection of road marking with the function of holding the machine in the center of the strip (the system recognizes the edge of the road even without marking).
The minivans will be offered with the upgraded V6 3.5 (2GR-FKS) engine, which now works in tandem with an eight-speeds automatic transmission. The Japanese will also be able to purchase cars with the same engine 2.5 (2AR-FE) and variator and all-wheel drive hybrid versions (running on the Atkinson engine 2.5 engine and electric motor).
Both updated minivans cost from 3,354,480 yen.
