Elon Musk promised to introduce Tesla car owners to a real droneDecember 20, 2019
The head of the company announced the release of the next software update for all electric cars of the brand. In addition to technical corrections and improvements, in the new version, the Stardew Valley game will be available, as well as a preview of the full-fledged autopilot Full Self-Driving (FSD).
Elon Musk actively communicates in his Twitter account and makes various announcements regarding his companies. In particular, a new version of the software for all electric cars of the company has now been announced. As part of this update, the operation of a full-fledged drone will be shown, although its operation is not possible in current versions of cars.
The update will include many improvements – it starts from small bugs, ending with an increase in power and power reserve. In addition, the next version should have another Christmas “bookmark”, a new Stardew Valley game, and a demonstration of the full autopilot Full Self-Driving (FSD).
This system will be installed only on the next-generation electronic platform, built on the basis of the powerful FSD computing processor. According to preliminary information available, it will provide a 21-fold advantage over existing Nvidia technologies. Production will be established in collaboration with Samsung.
Unfortunately, details have not yet been announced. It is also unknown when the new drone will appear on production cars. Nevertheless, Elon Musk promises that his cars will be equipped with a fifth-level drone, turning electric cars into real robomobiles.
