Elon Musk named the range of the electric Tesla truck

The founder of the American company Tesla, Elon Musk, said that the new Semi electric truck, which is powered by four engines, will be able to travel up to 1,000 kilometers on a single battery charge. These indicators will be achieved thanks to advanced technologies.
Note that earlier the company provided other data, indicating that the basic version of the Tesla Semi will have a cruising range of 500 kilometers, and the top version will be able to travel up to 800 km. Prices for an electric truck will start at $ 150,000.
To date, the company does not declassify data on the power of the model. It is assumed that the truck will be able to accelerate from zero to hundred in 5 seconds. When using a trailer weighing 40 tons, the acceleration time is increased to 20 seconds.
Recall that the Tesla Semi truck prototype was first presented three years ago. It was expected that the electric car will go into mass production in 2019, however, for unnamed reasons, the dates were revised.
