Elon Musk announced two new Tesla productsJuly 25, 2020
Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that two more models will appear in the brand’s lineup.
We are talking about a “compact electric car” and “high capacity electric car”, which will appear after the armored electric pickup Cybertruck, informs Electrek.
According to assumptions, first of all, a compact electric car will be released – currently they are working on it in China, where, for sure, its production will be localized. There are no details regarding the design and technical part of the new model yet, since the project is at an early stage, and it is too early to declassify any details about it.
The second novelty of the American automaker will be a 12-seater electric passenger van, which, according to Musk’s idea, will transport passengers in the underground tunnels of The Boring Company and will become an excellent alternative to public transport with internal combustion engines.
When new items appear, it is not reported at the moment, but it is already clear that you should not wait for them before 2023. Moreover, not long before their release, at the end of next year, sales of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck will begin, the production of which will be set up at Tesla’s new plant in Austin.
In addition, it was previously noted that Tesla is going to update the Model S and Model X. The plan to update these models includes a project of the American brand, codenamed “Palladium”. According to the information, new items should receive external changes.
