Later, after the start of sales of Volkswagen ID, the German concern will launch an electric crossover ID Crozz on the market.

At the summit of the suppliers of the German automotive concern from Wolfsburg it was reported that the future electric vehicle Volkswagen ID will be launched in November 2019.

As you know, the electric Volkswagen ID will be the first model of the German manufacturer, which will be built on the MEB platform, specially designed for electric vehicles. The Concept ID made its debut at the international motor show in Paris in the fall of 2016. It is a five-door hatchback. Unlike the Golf, the electric car will have a rear-wheel drive transmission.

The length of the body Volkswagen ID is only 4100 millimeters. However, the salon of the future novelty will be very spacious and larger than that of the Golf. After all, the concept of the wheelbase was 2750 mm, width – 1800 mm, and height 1530 mm.

The power plant of the new Volkswagen ID consists of one electric motor with a capacity of 169 horsepower. The maximum power reserve will be at 600 kilometers. And this despite the fact that the updated version of the electric e-Golf can drive one battery charge no more than 300 kilometers.
