Electric SUV without a hood? Audi will doAugust 23, 2019
The German company shared a photo teaser of an unusual electric car, which is preparing for the premiere this fall. His name is Al: TRAIL quattro.
If the task of the company was to surprise, then she did it. The concept car looks really extremely unusual, as if they cut off the hood. This effect is achieved due to the large wheels of the SUV, protruding beyond the front bumper.
The manufacturer positions it as a “conceptual electric SUV of the future” and puts it in a line with Aicon, Grand Tourrer PB18 and AI: ME.
From the name it follows that the model will receive four-wheel drive and at least one motor on each axis. Audi did not disclose any details, but, obviously, they will be told about them at the September motor show in Frankfurt. That is where the debut of the cabless Al: TRAIL quattro will take place.
Meanwhile, Audi offers its customers a wide variety of headlight patterns for the Q4 e-tron electric crossover. Interestingly, none of the manufacturers has such an option.
