Electric sedan Roewe Ei6 debuts at the April Auto Show in BeijinJanuary 15, 2020
The battery version of the sedan will be a good illustration of the new concept of “intelligent design”.
SAIC is going to present at the Beijing Auto Show, which will be held from April 2 to 30, 2020, a fully electric version of the Roewe i6 sedan. Interestingly, the ei6 version in the list of modifications for this model was from the very beginning, since its market debut in 2017. True, then the PHEV plug-in hybrid was hidden behind this name. The electric Roewe Ei6 got a completely redrawn front end. So, on the nose of the car the brand name now flaunts for the first time. Until that moment, the logo-coat of arms was placed there.
The headlights of the novelty are matrix with new graphics, and under the license plate there was a place for the autopilot camera. The dimensions of the electric sedan are kept secret.
The standard ei6 reaches a length of 4,671 mm with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm, and its width and height are 1,835 and 1,460 mm, respectively. The hybrid sedan is driven by a one and a half liter 169-horsepower gasoline turbo engine, working in conjunction with an 136 hp electric engine. The total capacity of the hybrid power plant is 305 horsepower. The first 100 km/h is gaining in 7.5 seconds, and its maximum speed reaches 200 km / h. The power of the electric Ei6 and hybrid ei6 (the manufacturer likes to play with uppercase and lowercase letters) will most likely vary. But the mileage of new items without recharging is unlikely to exceed 350 kilometers.
Ei6 charging connectors are located in the hatches on the front wings on both sides of the sedan. The roof of the electric car is almost completely transparent.
Meanwhile, Bentley is completing the production of the Mulsanne sedan. The manufacturer will release a “farewell” series of models, which will be released in a limited edition.
