Electric hypercar Pininfarina Battista for 1,900 hp officially disclosedMarch 7, 2019
The famous bodywork studio presented its own hypercar, equipped with a fully electric transmission from Rimac, and also capable of accelerating more than 350 km / h. Sales will begin in 2020.
Despite the fact that Pininfarina does not have its own transmission technology and the main part of everything necessary to produce its own models, this does not prevent it from producing its own models. Now the company introduced the electric hypercar Battista, the circulation of which will be limited to 150 units.
Details are not fully disclosed, but we can look at the design, as well as get acquainted with some technical features. It is possible that the platform, or rather the monocoque, around which the whole car was built, was developed by the in-house studio. However, the power plant with a capacity of about 1,900 horsepower and 2,300 Nm of torque was borrowed from the Croatian company Rimac Automobili.
It is assumed that the acceleration to “hundreds” will take no more than 2 seconds, and another 10 seconds will be needed to achieve a speed of 300 km / h. The maximum speed will reach above 350 km / h. The power source will be a battery of 120 kW * hours, capable of providing up to 450 km of run.
It is impossible to ignore the fact that Paninfarina really knows how to create images and design of cars. The model looks elegant and stylish without flashy details, but completely unique.
The cost will be in the region of 2-2.5 dollars. The first deliveries are scheduled for 2020.
