Electric eBussy goes on sale in 2021July 27, 2020
The German company Electric Brands plans to bring electric eBussy to the market next year.
The newest car will be built on an electric platform, and it is completely modular, therefore, it can be transformed from a minibus to a pickup and other various modes of transport.
A total of 10 body options will be offered, in addition to this, eBussy will receive a steering wheel that can be moved. So, the steering wheel can be located not only on the left and right, but also in the center. This ability to adjust the driver’s position is due to the fact that the car uses a special technology and does not have a steering wheel and pedals that are mechanically connected to the front wheels.
All eBussy will be available with a 10 kWh battery, which will provide a range of 200 km. At the same time, an optional 30 kW / h battery will be offered, which will allow you to travel up to 600 km on a single charge. The novelty will receive electric motors integrated into the wheels with a capacity of 20 hp. and an incredible 1000 Nm torque.
EBussy’s weight will range from 450 – 600 kg depending on the body type. The new car will be equipped with solar panels on the roof and a brake energy recovery system.
The cost of eBussy will start from 15,800 euros, while the most expensive version of the model will cost 28,800 euros.
In addition, it was recently reported that the German company Volkswagen is developing an affordable compact electric car. The novelty should come to replace the e-Up! and is a 5-door hatchback. The concept of the new model is expected to debut in 2023.
