The first model of Hyundai’s new electric sub-brand, the Ioniq 5 crossover, will get engines with a capacity of up to 310 hp. and a power reserve of up to 510 km. This information was shared by Motor1, based on screenshots of the presentation for dealers sent to the editor.
According to the agency, the main illustration, which depicts both the crossover itself and its technical characteristics, was sent to the editorial office anonymously. But the appearance of this Ioniq 5 matches both official teasers and spy shots released by Hyundai.
The featured crossover has similar optics, similar rims and similar front fenders. However, the alleged serial Ioniq 5 is very similar to the prototype Hyundai 45, which was presented in 2019.
Judging by the published information, the Ioniq 5 electric crossover will receive a 3-meter wheelbase and a luggage compartment with a volume of up to 600 liters. For the model, they will offer motors with a recoil of up to 310 hp. with rear or all-wheel drive, autonomy up to 510 km and the ability to charge batteries up to 80% in 18 minutes.
The crossover will be equipped with a 12.3-inch monitor and a projection screen with image dimensions identical to 44 inches. Finally, the new model will receive a second-level semi-autonomous control system.
