Electric crossover Fisker Ocean will receive an off-road versionApril 6, 2020
The American automaker, Fisker, has announced an off-road version of its Ocean electric crossover. The start of production is scheduled for 2021.
Serial production of the Fisker Ocean crossover can only begin in a few years, but this did not prevent Fisker from introducing a new off-road version for its promising electric car. Fisker Ocean is the crossover that could very well become a very popular vehicle due to its low price and zero pollution.
When the Fisker Ocean crossover was introduced in early 2020, it took the world by surprise. Representatives of the company promised that the new product will receive a starting price of only 37,000 dollars.
To reserve Ocean for themselves, potential customers can make a deposit of $ 250. The production start date is scheduled for 2021.
In addition to the impressive prices, the electric Ocean offers the same level of performance that you would expect from a much more expensive counterpart from Tesla. The electric car from Fisker boasts a total capacity of more than 300 horsepower, which accelerates the car to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds. The cruising range is 483 km, and in addition, the crossover uses a fast charger to gain enough energy to cover 322 km in just 30 minutes of charging.
In 2021, Fisker plans to introduce an off-road version of the Ocean SUV to demonstrate the use of an electric SUV as an electrical alternative to existing military vehicles and the replacement of off-road vehicles powered by traditional gasoline or diesel. Fisker argues that the low center of gravity of the car, provided by the battery pack, is a huge advantage for conquering off-road in addition to the instantaneous torque of its electric motors.
