Electric crossover BMW iX M showed on an unofficial renderJanuary 2, 2021
The Bavarian automaker has yet to say a word about a possible M version of its all-electric iX crossover. However, BMW is already testing the i4 M, which means that M electric cars are saving a place in the brand’s model range.
X-Tomi Design showed what a BMW iX M electric car could look like. For his renderings, the independent designer used the iX M Sport version. The front bumper was modified in the spirit of the M-series cars, the wheels got an increased diameter, the ground clearance became lower, and the black exterior mirror housings, the frame of the radiator grille and window frames complement the image. In general, the car on the render turned out to be modern and dynamic, but you cannot call it handsome.
Recall that the standard iX gets a 100 kWh battery and a pair of electric motors with a return of 496 hp. Without recharging, the electric crossover will travel about 600 kilometers. Up to a hundred electric cars will accelerate in less than five seconds. iX M should be faster.
The same X5 M copes with this lead in 3.9 seconds. So, if the iX M is able to show a time of up to four seconds, then its power plant should produce about 650 “horses”.
Currently, many automakers have taken a course towards electrification and are actively working in this direction. So anything can be – even the sporty iX.
