Electric car Ora R1 from Great Wall enters the Chinese marketDecember 27, 2018
This neat urban hatch became the second model of the young and promising Great Wall subbrand – the Ora company. Recall, it was specially created for the production of “green” cars.
Very soon, the motorists of the China will be able to test the small electric car Ora R1 with a very original “cartoon” appearance. Upon careful consideration of the new product, it becomes obvious that its creators were inspired by the smart five-door design forfour. It is known that the Ora R1 will be ten percent lighter than its main competitors – the mass of the electric vehicle does not exceed 990 kilograms. This figure was achieved through the use of composite materials and aluminum alloy.
Depending on the selected configuration, such an electric car can drive 310 or 351 km on a single charge. The electric motor produces 48 hp, and the maximum speed of the car is 102 km / h. Under the floor inside the car, there is a lithium-ion traction battery with a capacity of 30.7 or 33 kWh.
In the four-seater cabin all neat and practical. Electric cars in standard performance get ABS, two airbags (in a more advanced version, their number will increase to six) air conditioning and media system. The minimum cost of the Ora R1 on the home market will be 61,800 yuan, the maximum – 75,800 yuan. The first electric cars will fall into the hands of buyers in the 2019th.
