It became known that the new electric car Mercedes-Benz EQS without recharging can go up to 770 km and will be endowed with excellent aerodynamics. And his debut is scheduled for April 15, 2021.
The drag coefficient of this sedan is equal to a record value of 0.2. This is made possible thanks to the carefully thought-out body shape, unique aerodynamic wheel covers and sealed door handles.
The traction battery of the new Mercedes was also unique. It has a 10% lower cobalt content. At the same time, the car will be sold with two types of batteries with a capacity of 90 and 107.8 kW / h. In the first case, the car will be able to cover 640 kilometers without recharging, and in the second – a record 770 km. It also assumes two types of drive – full and rear. In the all-wheel drive modification, the electric car will be equipped with two motors with a total capacity of 524 horsepower.
In mid-April, the novelty will be presented to the public in its final version. But at the same time, there is no exact information about the time of the start of sales and the cost of the new electric car. Probably, this information will appear in the press a little later.
