Electric car Ford Mustang Mach-E first to appear in EuropeFebruary 10, 2020
Ford Mustang Mach-E is one of the most interesting new cars released by the American brand over the past few years.
Thanks to the Mach-E Club profile forum, we have new details about the all-electric Mustang. During the recently opened Chicago Auto Show, a forum member had the opportunity to speak with Jason Mays, who oversees the marketing strategy of Ford Electrification Marketing.
One intriguing thing told by Maze is that the Mustang Mach-E will first go on sale in the European market, and later in the United States. Maze said that “countries like Norway will be the first.” Given the demand for electric cars in Europe, this is not a big surprise.
Fortunately, those who ordered the Mustang Mach-E in the USA do not have to wait so long to get their car – the first customers will begin to receive freight cars in the last quarter of 2020. We are talking about the performance of First Edition, as well as the configuration Premium, Select and California Route 1.
The only option that will not appear before the end of this year is the top-end Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, equipped with a modernized power plant with a return of 459 hp. and 830 Nm of torque driven by a 98.8 kWh battery. Mustang Mach-E GT will go on sale in the spring of 2021.
In its press release, the company noted that the top version of the Ford Mach-E is capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in about 3.0 seconds and will travel about 378 km on a single charge. At the end of last year, Ford said that approximately 30% of customers chose GT.
