Eco-friendly BMW 330e iPerformance will appear in 2019October 29, 2018
BMW introduced a new generation 3-Series sedan at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. Sales of new items will start on March 9, 2019. At first, only the regular versions will be available: petrol – 320i, 330i, as well as diesel – 318d, 320d, 330d. Well, the hybrid version 330e iPerformance will appear in the summer of 2019.
According to official data, the new 330e will be able to travel up to 60 km in a fully electric mode, which is a third more than the current version.
This indicator in the current modification of the “green” car is estimated by the EPA cycle (22.5 km on a battery of 7.6 kWh).
It is also reported that the BMW 330e iPerformance will spend about 6.0 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h – the current version of the hybrid can boast the same indicator. The novelty will be equipped with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. Thanks to the XtraBoost function, the hybrid powerplant of the Bavarian sedan can temporarily increase its maximum power from 251 to 292 horsepower.
As reported in the official press release of the Bavarian brand, BMW 330e iPerformance will receive unsurpassed dynamics, which can not boast of other similar cars. Fuel consumption, as well as CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, decreased by more than 10 percent – to 1.7 liters per 100 kilometers and 39 grams per kilometer.
