EAV has developed an electric truck with bike pedalsJuly 30, 2020
This eco-friendly car is ideal for urban use. It can be used in food delivery services or in companies serving a variety of infrastructure facilities.
Electric Assisted Vehicles Limited (EAV) has unveiled its new commercial vehicle. The model, called the EAV 2Cubed eCargo, is ultralight, and one of its main features is bicycle pedals.
Eco-transport receives a stationary box with an adaptive racking system. At the heart of the electric truck is a modular system popular today, which has a positive effect on the versatility of the car. Before us is a cab with a chassis and a body that can be installed, adapting to specific goals.
The new electric truck weighs only 2,740 mm in length, 90 kilograms without a van and 125 with a van. The electric motor and pedals are responsible for the performance of the car. The motor will help accelerate the mini-truck to 6 km / h, and then the pedals come into play. With their help, the speed of an electric car will be able to increase to 25 km / h. The declared power reserve without recharging is 25-96 km.
The maximum payload of the 2Cubed is 150 kg plus driver, gross vehicle weight is 380 kg. These indicators are not final: the company wants to raise these parameters. The release of the novelty was organized at the British EAV plant in Upper Hayford.
