Dwayne Johnson gave his understudy brand new Ford F-150August 1, 2018
Actor Duane “Rock” Johnson gave his backup Tanoyuu Reed, who is recovering from the injury received on the set, a brand new Ford F-150 Raptor. This Johnson told in his Instagram, stressing that Reed is not only a member of a large family (he’s a cousin of Duane), but also a representative of the Hollywood community of stuntmen.
In the description of the video Johnson said that since 2002, when Reed first acted as an actor in the film “The Scorpion King,” the stuntman received several fractures, ruptures of tendons and ligaments, as well as the title “Stuntman of the Year.” Pick-up, according to Johnson, became a kind of gift for “spilled blood, sweat, tears and past years.”
As for the Ford, it’s a bespoke copy of the F-150, painted black and equipped with a suspension with increased ground clearance. Among other features: black rims, off-road tires and chrome exterior details.
