Ducati unveils the 2020 Panigale V2 sportbikeOctober 27, 2019
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati recently introduced its new 2018-2019 Panigale V2 sportbike. We can say that this is a new generation of Ducati 959, which simply suffered not only rebranding, but also significantly reworked.
The new sport bike has the same engine as the 959 – 955cc L-Twin Superquadro. It was slightly modified and began to produce 155 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque.
Moreover, the chassis was also changed. It seems that everything was done in order to make the Ducati Panigale V2 2020 more similar to the Panigale V4. Starting next year, the Panigale V2 will be equipped with a console pendulum – this makes it as close as possible to its older model.
Some agree that this new product is designed for those who do not have enough money on the Panigale V4, but this is not at all the case. V2 is a completely different class, aimed at classic motorcycle users, that is, those who use a motorcycle in the city and go to the race track only occasionally, or do not go at all.
A pleasant change is the weight of the motorcycle – 153 kilograms (curb – 176 kg). Moreover, the sport bike is equipped with excellent electronics. For example, he got the IMU system, traction control (DTC EVO 2), corner ABS, quick shifter with blipper and custom engine braking, and many other useful systems.
Speaking of design, we can put it this way: A small Panigale, which was wrapped in a large wrapper. For a sport bike they ask from 18 thousand euros
