Ducati Streetfighter V4 shipments will begin next yearJune 15, 2019
While the serial version of the novelty is being prepared for the November EICMA-2019 exhibition in Milan, the prototype of the model will be baptized at Pikes Piquet.
Quite a lot of rumors circulated around the possible release of the new Streetfighter, and now he is about to participate in the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb contest, and they will be piloted by Dann Carlin. Yes, this is still a prototype, but the final version is just around the corner.
The company’s CEO, Claudio Dominicale, called the model “Panigale for road racing.” That is why, in his words, Pais Peak is best suited to demonstrate its capabilities. The bike is equipped with a Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine of 1 103 cm³ from Panigale V4, Akrapovi exhaust system, Brembo Stylma calipers, Öhlins suspension, twin 330-mm brake discs and Marchesini aluminum wheels. Approximate power on the rear wheel – 200 hp
A complete package of modern electronics is expected, since a liquid crystal dashboard is available from the same Panigale. The models were designed in the Centro Stile Ducati, and it is extremely entertaining – if the rear part resembles a Panigale V4, then the front has the outlines of an old Streetfighter 1098.
