Ducati officially unveiled the superbike Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916July 15, 2019
Just the other day we wrote that the Italian manufacturer is going to celebrate the anniversary of the bike 916 in a limited version of the Panigale V4. The presentation took place, and already some information about the upcoming new product is already known.
The limited edition is timed to the 25th anniversary of the iconic Ducati 916 and will be released in the amount of 500 copies. Production will unfold at the facilities of the plant in Bologna. The official premiere took place during the “Superbike” stage in California, where the motorcycle showed off a special livery.
But the livery is not the only thing that distinguishes it from the standard model. For example, it was equipped with Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, Marchesini wrought magnesium wheels, modern Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2 and Ducati Traction Control EVO 2 electronic systems and dry clutch.
The front of the frame is similar to the Panigale V4R. In addition, there are a number of components from the corporate tuning catalog.
The special version will be released on the market in October of the current year and will cost $ 42,500 for buyers from the USA and € 41,900 for residents of Europe. The copy number five, by the way, will go under the hammer at auction. The proceeds will be directed to the mother fund of the recently deceased motorcycle racer Karlin Dunn.
Earlier in Paris, the Ducati salon suffered the hands of Algerian football fans, who smashed his shop windows and took away several motorcycles and ammunition.
