DS 8 – the stylish sedan of the French futureFebruary 16, 2019
The network has published a render of a possible future sedan from a French premium brand. The model has a stylish modern design, based on a number of existing models and concepts.
The French brand DS is going to significantly expand its own model line in the near future. The most likely contender for the first appearance is the new DS 8 sedan. Therefore, independent designers decided to present how it could look, and we can assume the technical equipment. It is assumed that the company will produce a new model each year until 2025.
As a power unit will be logical hybrid from the current version of the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense. The basis of the power unit includes a 1.6-liter turbo engine and two electric motors. The total capacity of the installation will be 296 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. An electrified installation should provide a combination of smoothness and power that luxury car buyers might like.
The design of the car on the render clearly traced corporate design, with a massive hexagonal grille, multi-section LED optics and LED DRL at the edges of the bumper.
