The fastest production Lamborghinis measured the dynamics
YouTube channel carwow has organized a drag race between the top versions of Lamborghini – the Aventador SVJ 63 coupe and the Huracan Performante Spyder roadster. Two-doors fought in the races from standstill and on the move, and the final test was the evaluation of the braking efficiency.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has an naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 boosted to 770 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The curb weight of the coupe has been reduced to 1,525 kilograms. The flagship Lamborghini retains all-wheel drive and a robotic 7-speed single-clutch transmission. Price – from 360 thousand pounds sterling
Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder is a track version of the model with a soft top. The naturally aspirated V10 with a volume of 5.2 liters produces 640 horsepower and 600 Nm, all-wheel drive. The Huracan has a more modern 7-speed dual-clutch robotized transmission, but the weight advantage is only 18 kilograms. In addition, the Huracan is nearly £ 100,000 cheaper and starts at £ 262,000 in the UK.
In the quarter mile race, the Italian supercars were 0.2 seconds apart. The results of other races were also very close and correlated with last year’s carwow duel – then the Lamborghini Huracan Performante coupe fought with a limited version of the Aventador SV.
