Donuts on the 1200-horsepower electric Audi RS3September 21, 2018

On the YouTube channel of the German racer Daniel Abta, a video appears in which he twists “donuts” on the prototype Audi RS3, equipped with four electric motors from the Formula E car. The show car was built by the German engineering company Schaeffler.
Instead of a stock 2.5-liter turbo engine on Audi, the motors from the racing car ABT Schaeffler FE0, which participated in the season of the Formula E championship in 2016-2017, were installed. The total output of the unit is 1200 horsepower and 1280 Nm of torque. The all-wheel drive sedan with controlled thrust vector accelerates from zero to 200 kilometers per hour in less than seven seconds.
The overall efficiency of electric motors and single-stage transmissions at full load is 95 percent. The whole power electronics of the prototype is powered by a battery pack with a capacity of 64 kilowatt-hours.
