Dodge-powered Jeep Gladiator to be auctionedOctober 10, 2020
The original Jeep Gladiator with a Dodge Challenger Demon engine will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction, which will take place on October 22-24 this year.
So, the place of the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 Gladiator unit was taken by the 6.2-liter V8 Dodge Challenger Demon with a turbocharging capacity of 850 hp. Together with this engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission functions. It is noted that the power plant was modified, equipped with a Griffin radiator and a 2-fuel pumping system. As a result, its performance increased to 1000 hp.
Along with this, the Gladiator has Enforcer Overland suspension, EVO King shocks, King steering stabilizer, Adams driveshaft and more.
In addition to a redesigned exterior and a new powertrain, the Gladiator features a set of 20-inch Fuel Zephyr wheels with 40-inch Toyo MT tires, a WARN Zeon 10S winch, a steel Mopar bumper, Rockslide Engineering electric side steps and custom headrests.
It’s safe to say that a lot of money has been spent on the Gladiator revision. At the same time, the auction house did not disclose the estimated cost of the car.
In addition, it was recently noted that an inexpensive Jeep Wrangler analog appeared on sale. It should be emphasized that we are talking about the Mahindra Thar all-wheel drive SUV, which will be available in the Indian automotive market.
