Dodge introduced the Demon Coupe with a twin-turbo engineOctober 21, 2018
Under the hood of Dodge Demon is a powerful 1400-horsepower engine.
If you need a very fast car that will be free to drive around on public roads, have the necessary power to travel 402 meters in less than 10 seconds, then you need a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Yes, this car is very fast, but, as always it happens, various enthusiasts have decided that it can be done even faster.
At the upcoming SEMA, which demonstrates various tuning projects, a modernized Dodge Demon will be presented.
The car received two T468 Precision Billet turbochargers, which are installed instead of the standard supercharger. Thanks to all the changes that have occurred with the powerplant of the American coupe, the power of the V8 engine is about 1,400 horsepower and all this torque will be transmitted only to the rear wheels.
At first glance, the car body looks almost unchanged, but … Each outer panel is made of carbon fiber. We do not know the exact weight of the car, but there is no doubt that it is much lower than the original Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
It is known that the modernized coupe can overcome 402 meters in just 8.77 seconds. The maximum possible speed will be equal to 261 km / h. Well, of course, we can not note the fascinating roar of the engine.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye production started at the Dodge plant.
