Today, the first details about the new generation of the Honda Jazz car have become known, the start of sales of which in Europe is scheduled for this summer. In Japan, the car will be sold under the name Fit, and it will be available in February. The appearance of the hatchback for Japan and Europe will be the same, but the technical equipment varies significantly. The main difference is observed in the motor range. At the home car market, the model is available with both a classic ICE and a hybrid powerplant, but European customers can only purchase a hybrid version.
The classic engine version for Japan is equipped with a 1.3-liter engine, and the hybrid is based on a 1.5-liter engine, which works together with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.
The hybrid powerplant will be identical for Japan and Europe. Prices in the European market will be announced closer to the start of sales, but Japanese buyers already know how much they will have to pay for a new generation of car. Starting equipment will cost 1,488,100 yen. The most budget version with a hybrid engine costs 1,926,100 yen
