Design studio Zagato is working on a carbon fiber supercar with a 6.8-liter engineAugust 2, 2020
The Italian company, which develops bodies for new cars of various brands, is going to revive the IsoRivolta brand.
The world-famous body shop Zagato will present a whole series of supercars under the IsoRivolta brand in the very near future. Such cars will receive a carbon fiber body made in retro style, and a 6.8-liter compression engine will be responsible for their performance. The motor power is kept secret for now.
The announced supercars will become a piece goods – the declared circulation is only 19 cars. The debut copy of the IsoRivolta GTZ from Zagato is going to be handed over to the client in October this year. In total, as you know, nine out of 19 supercars have already been booked by collectors.
The Italians “spied” the appearance of the IsoRivolta GTZ coupe at the classic two-door Iso Rivolta A3 1963 model year.
It is curious that the refined Italian design on the new model will organically interact with the American technical component. Recall that the base for the GTZ will be the 7th generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The recoil of this sports car can guide us on the power of the novelty. Recall that the Corvette Z06 with a 6.2-liter power unit produces 659 horses.
More details about the new product will be announced in the fall, when the first commercial supercar falls into the hands of the owner.
Earlier, we told what happened to the Ferrari Testarossa supercar, which was left under the sun for 17 years. The elements did not spare the appearance of the once stylish sports car. The car owner is looking for a new owner for him. To attract a buyer, he put a fairly low price tag on it.
