Dartz has updated the Prombron Black Alligator SUVFebruary 7, 2021
It was only recently that Dartz announced the launch of a brand of affordable electric vehicles, but the Latvian company, known for its wild SUVs, still makes heavy duty land yachts. The latest is an updated version of the 2017 Prombron Black Alligator SUV known as the Black Alligator MMXX.
The updated SUV is due to be unveiled following this month’s Chinese New Year celebrations, but photos have already leaked online ahead of its big premiere. They were provided by the car owner who lives in China. It is believed to be the first Black Alligator MMXX client.
With the update, the SUV received a new and much more refined design than the original Black Alligator, especially at the front, where a new grille appears that appears to have been inspired by the mask of the fictional character Batman Bane, a DC Comics supervillain.
The car also received a new Dartz logo, known as the Spirit of Bomber, which signifies Dartz’s connection with Russo-Balt, a Russian car brand produced at the Russian-Baltic Carriage Works in Riga, founded in 1869. Dartz founder Leonard Yankelovich is a descendant of one of the shareholders of the original company. Later Russo-Baltique began creating aircraft that were used as bombers during World War I, hence the military theme of the new Dartz logo.
Dartz retains full details of the Black Alligator MMXX for the end of the year, but like the current Black Alligator, the new SUV is donated by the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLS63. At this point, it is known that the flat roof was designed by Dartz with the drone landing in mind, and that every customer has the opportunity to add the best armor available for civilian use.
