
Dacia showed a new crossover Bigster

The Romanian brand Dacia, owned by Renault, has presented a teaser for the future Bigster crossover, which will surpass the Duster in size. The new model will be part of the company’s development strategy called Renaulution.
The new C-class crossover will be built on the modular platform CMF-B, on which the Logan and Sandero models are now produced. According to preliminary data, the length of the future newest car will be 4,600 millimeters, which is 280 millimeters more than the current Duster. In addition, Dacia officials said the Bigster will receive a seven-seat cabin.
In the presented teaser, the new crossover is equipped with narrow LED front optics, original V-shaped taillights, as well as protective plastic covers on the bumper and wheel arches. It is expected that the line of units of the new SUV will include gasoline turbo engines of 1.0 and 1.3 liters, as well as a 1.5 liter diesel engine. In addition, the new model will be available with an E-Tech hybrid powertrain.
The premiere of the Bigster crossover will take place no earlier than 2025. Until this point, Dacia plans to present two more new products, which should debut in 2022 and 2024.
