Dacia Sandero first hit the top three European bestsellers in JulyAugust 29, 2019
This compact hatchback missed forward only two Volkswagen models. And the brand itself, following the results of last month, called Dacia Sandero its most popular car in Europe.
Last month, the compact hatchback Dacia Sandero for the first time in its history hit the TOP 3 best-selling models in Europe, earning the right to be called the European bestseller of the brand. The automaker himself sees around his model the growing interest of Europeans, as is the case with the new Duster. The leader in the ranking of the most sought-after cars in Europe is Volkswagen Golf, which in July sold 32,248 copies (-17.5%). The second result of 21,248 cars belongs to another car from the Volkswagen model line – VW Polo. The decline in demand for this model, according to research company JATO Dynamics, exceeded 22 percent. The third is Dacia Sandero – 20,890 cars sold (+ 22.3%).
Then Renault Clio follows with a slight lag (20,062 transactions), and closes the TOP-5 of the European best-selling Volkswagen Tiguan (19,693 units).
The top ten also included the Opel / Vauxhall Corsa and Skoda Octavia, whose July sales exceeded 19,000, Ford Fiesta with 18,130, and Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen T-Roc with over 17,000 customers.
