D2H Advanced Technologies showed a new commercial electric carNovember 6, 2020
The newest cars is a multifunctional delivery vehicle.
British company D2H Advanced Technologies has unveiled a new electric delivery van on the world’s most affordable chassis. We first heard about the project in June this year, when the company’s press service published some technical characteristics of the chassis and its renderings. Now the electric knock-knock has taken the form of a car.
D2H Advanced Technologies presented two vehicles based on its own chassis: with an open cargo platform and a van. In addition, variants of almost any configuration can be assembled on the chassis. It is reported that the power plant itself is still in development, but the estimated use of such a car is 12 hours without recharging.
According to preliminary data, the weight of the finished car will be 480 kg excluding batteries. Now representatives of the startup are negotiating with partners to create a prototype. Note that the vehicles are classified as “heavy ATV”, so they will not need to pass safety certification and crash tests. This fact should make it easier for the company to exit the serial car.
