Cupra unveils new Ateca limited edition with carbon fiber and unique rimsOctober 29, 2019
Cupra is a breakaway Seat brand of “charged” cars, and now it is producing interesting models. This time a limited edition crossover is presented in an expensive body kit with carbon elements, unique wheels and much more.
The new Cupra Ateca Special Edition will be released in a total of 1,999 units. Its distinctive feature will be 20-inch alloy wheels with copper color, as well as unique carbon parts with a decorative copper line. In principle, the copper shade will become the “main” feature of the version, and will be found on many elements.
Roof spoiler, mirror housings, instrument panel trim and climate control panel will be made of carbon fiber, and even the key case will be made of carbon fiber. Two shades of the body will be available for customers: corporate gray and unique blue. The interior will receive sports seats with trim from Petrol Blue Alcantara. The same material will be decorated with doors and a back sofa.
Under the hood, the previous 2.0-liter turbo engine with a capacity of up to 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque will be installed. Paired with it, a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission is aggregated.
“The Cupra Ateca Limited Edition is a car that will surprise motorists and demonstrate our passion for developing new products that exude the essence of the brand,” said Wayra Griffiths, CEO of Cupra.
