Cupra Terramar Coupe Crossover Debuts at Geneva Auto ShowFebruary 2, 2019
The fact that the Seat company allocates Cupra in a separate subbrand, it became known in January 2018. About a year it took the newly-made brand to present a completely independent car, not created on the basis of any model from Seat.
The Cupra company presented its “debut” model last year – the Cupra’s hot crossover became the “firstborn” of the brand. On the eve, a specialized edition of Autocar reported that this spring the world community will have another high-profile premiere prepared by Cupra. The brand is going to bring its first independent car to the Geneva Motor Show. It is known that they will be a coupe-shaped crossover, received the sonorous name Terramar.
It is reported that the appearance of the new crossover will be made in the spirit of the concept Seat 20v20, presented almost four years ago.
The novelty will be wider and lower than the model Cupra Ateca, but in technical terms, the cross-coupe will borrow a lot. According to experts, the Cupra Terramar will be equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a power of 300 hp. In a couple of it will offer a seven-speed robotized transmission.
Recall earlier it became known that Lexus will bring its most affordable UX crossover to the March motor show in Geneva.
