Crossover Mazda CX-8 will sell outside of JapanJanuary 10, 2018
The company Mazda officially announced that its new three-row SUV will get out of the home market.
The CX-8 all-terrain vehicle made its debut in Japan in the fall of 2017, and “live” sales of new items were launched in this country in December. Then Mazda announced that the crossover is intended only for the Japanese market, but now the manufacturer has changed its decision – in the second half of 2018 the cross will appear in Australia, preliminary applications are already accepted.
On the Green Continent, the Mazda CX-8 will be available for purchase with diesel 2.2, other details about the Australian version are not yet disclosed. In Japan, the cross is available with the same engine, its power is 190 hp, the engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the drive is front or full.
In Japan, the CX-8 is positioned as a flagship, the crossover is offered in a six- or seven-seater performance. The larger CX-9 in Japan is not represented, but in Australia the CX-9 is sold, where the model is equipped with a petrol 231-strong turbo engine 2.5.
By the way, not so long ago on the web there were photos from tests Mazda CX-8, made in China. Apparently, the cross will get even to the UK. However, officially the release of new items on the Chinese market in Mazda was not announced.
Earlier it was reported that in Japan, the CX-8 is in high demand.
