Crossover Great Wall VV5 received a new multimedia systemOctober 14, 2019
The company Wey, which is a luxury brand of Great Wall, has demonstrated an updated variation of the VV5 model.
The crossover was transformed externally and received a 12.5-inch screen multimedia system. The exterior of Wey VV5 has changed locally: it was equipped with optics with a new design, other bumpers and another radiator grill. In addition, the updated VV5 model lost the “warmed up” variation with a different body kit and exhaust system. After the upgrade, the VV5 again strongly resembles the VV7 model.
Inside, the new front panel appeared, like the Mercedes-Benz GLA, and a central tunnel resembling a Porsche Macan. The multimedia complex acquired a face recognition system, and together with the automatic transmission selector, the manufacturer installed a joystick.
Under the hood of the updated VV5 model, nothing has changed. So, the motor range of the car is still represented by a 1.5-liter supercharged engine with a capacity of 169 hp and a 2-liter turbocharged engine with 224 hp Both power units operate only in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. For the flagship variation, four-wheel drive will be available.
China’s updated Wey VV5 will go on sale in a month. The novelty will cost from 127,500 yuan. Great Wall is not going to bring the crossover under the Wey brand to the markets of other countries.
