Crossover Genesis GV70 noticed on testsMay 8, 2020
The premium crossover was seen on trials on the legendary Nurburgring track.
Premium Korean brand Genesis continues to test its new GV70 crossover. For the first time in testing, he was spotted back in October 2019. On Friday, May 8, a fresh batch of photos appeared on the Web. At the same time, camouflage did not decrease, but the novelty was able to consider from different angles.
According to the publication Motor1, the car received a very quiet engine – at some moments it was even drowned out by the sounds of tires, which is really amazing. Officially, the engine range has not yet been announced. However, according to information from some sources, the car will receive two gasoline versions and one diesel engine.
One of the power units should be the 2.5-liter Theta3 engine, which will be used in the new generation Hyundai Tucson. This conclusion can be made, since these two crosses will separate the platform.
Other engines may move on to the new Genesis G70 sedan. Externally, the novelty will receive features from modern Genesis models – in particular, we note the grille and headlights in the style of the GV80 crossover. The rear part is made in the spirit of the Porsche 928. According to preliminary data, the car will have an active suspension. Talking about the date of the car’s debut is now difficult. Initially, the representatives of the brand called 2021, but due to the coronavirus, the date can be shifted.
